Framing
We offer interior nonstructural framing. This includes floating walls in basements with concrete floors. Floating walls are required in the state of Colorado due to an abundance of expansive soil in the region. All framing is done to code with fire blocking included.
We are a small company so our resources can be limited. Framing jobs will be considered based off of our availability and the proximity to your location.
Quality Drywall Installation: Patch and Texture Services Available
Getting a new kitchen or bathroom? We are proficient in matching many spray and hand textures. We offer patch and texture services after electrical changes, plumbing repairs, leaks, new door or window installs etc. We also provide new drywall installation including delivery and stocking. QC on any job accepted over 1080 square feet of wall and ceiling area (30 sheets) will be overseen by us and sub-contracted out to our insured hanger and finisher team.
Demolition
We offer basic demo needs as part of your project. Drop ceilings and ceiling tiles, walls, knee (pony) walls, cabinets etc. We are NOT liscenced to remove lead or asbestos. Small loads removed by hand, large loads placed in green Bagster or Sam’s hauling services dumpster.
Meet the owner
Hi, I’m Josh! I grew up in Northern Colorado, enjoying friends, camping, mountain biking and live music. I dabbled in construction when I wasn’t working on commercial fishing boats in Dutch Harbor Alaska. In 2003, I moved to the Denver area to start a new life. I found myself pulled back into construction and became an apprentice carpenter at Buckley Airforce Base. After several years of apprenticeship learning about concrete forming and finishing, framing and drywall hanging and finishing, In 2008 we were laid off as non essentials.
After trying to do it on my own as a sub contractor, working for friends, things slowed down and an amazing opportunity arose to start up a Drywall department at locally renowned Dun Rite Home Improvements. During my 3 year tenure, I ran a small team of technicians. We patched all drywall repairs in our in-progress kitchen and bath remodels after utilities were completed.
At 40 years of age, I finally made the leap to work for myself. While at Dun Rite, I had many pleased customers that often referred to our work as “art” and called us artists! Of course it got to my head a little and we called ourselves the “Drywall Artist LLC”
